1. 'What a pest you are' said the postmaster.Why do you think was the postmaster so cold towards Ali?
2. Ali was a clever shikari. When and why did he give up hunting?
3.Ali knows his end is approaching near. He forces himself  to the post office hoping to get Miriam's letter 
    but all in vain. He comes back home and reflects on his journey of life .Imagine yourself as Ali and write
   a diary entry expressing your feelings.
4. 'The haughty temper of the official had quite left him in his sorrow and anxiety and had laid bare his human
